How a school gets started

01
You pick the experiences
We map them against your existing syllabus. No course rebuild.

02
Students join in-course
Browser only. Works on a phone, tablet or laptop, anywhere they are.

03
A professional reviews
Someone currently working in that field, named on the training plan, at three checkpoints.

04
The record comes out filled in
Your teacher certifies the hours and signs. You file it. We do not.
What the current way costs
Work-based learning runs on somebody's hours: placing students, chasing employers, tracking hours, building the state report. Put your building's real numbers in. Ours are only the starting defaults, change every one.
288 hours a year
$11,520
That is $3,020 more than the $8,500 license, in staff time alone.
Staff time only, at the rate you set. This does not count employer recruitment trips, mileage, or the students who finish a pathway with no hours to count because no placement existed.
Kits
Why kits are separate
Some experiences ship a physical kit, most do not. A kit is the materials a student's venture actually uses, so it is priced per student who runs that experience, and the price is shown on that experience's page before you choose it. Experiences with no kit cost nothing beyond the license.
Funding
How schools fund this
Districts like Julesburg School District fund this through Perkins. Allowability is state-administered, so confirm with your state CTE office.
Schools can also use discretionary CTE or work-based learning funds.
