Work-based learning
What your school keeps on file
Finding the employer is the hard part. We supply the professional, so the Employer field has someone to name.

A guide and eleven forms. Each one says at the top who completes it.
The samples are watermarked. Schools running KANU get the full set.

Indiana example: the InTERS fields, and when each is reported
Your state's reporting system will differ. In Indiana, for example, the school enters every field in InTERS.

What your school does
Short list, and we would rather you see it now than find it later.
Sign the written agreement and plan
Student, parent or guardian, school and employer partner.
Name the supervising person
Whoever is already overseeing the course. Not every state requires it: Indiana's InTERS, for example, does not.
Report the hours in your state's reporting system
Your school enters the hours and fields itself.
Certify the partnership in your state's reporting system
Your school answers yes once the agreement and plan exist.
Take the questions to your state office
Send them to whoever signs off on work-based learning where you are, and come back when they have told you what else they want.
